PIN-LOK 2.0E Planking
In our patented Pin-Lok process, multiple structural members of Dense select woods are milled to size, inner surfaces sealed, and screw locking pins inserted, building the most functional, most durable, and longest lasting wood scaffold boards.
Most warping, twisting, end splitting and cupping is prevented due to insertion of the steel twist-lok pins and the re-directing of force by scattering the directions of the wood grains. As in a butcher block the multiple directions of the wood grains not only produces greater strength but also dramatically increases the amount of shock the scaffold boards will absorb. Compared to other engineered wood products, PIN-LOK has substantial reserve strength to support unexpected loading, reducing the risk of catastrophic failure, and provide a greater true safety factor.
Indian Mill now offers PIN-LOK Planks totally sealed with GRIP SEAL RHINO SKIN. The RHINO PLANK (Pin-Lok w/ Rhino Skin) is ideal for heavy industrial environments where true safety, durability, and longevity are required in all scaffold boards.
Built-In Safety
Using multiple pieces of wood solidly pinned together, along with mixing the wood grains, creates a sharing of load which negates weak areas in the plank. This process is called Load Sharing and increases the overall strength of Pin-Lok Scaffold Plank.
We offer custom embossing, branding, end sealing and World Wide Shipping.
